Profile: Maruf Akanni Ajetunmobi, FCTI.
TREASURER
Maruf Akanni Ajetunmobi, FCTI was a Tax Administrator with the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service where he served in various departments and Stations. He was a Personal Income Tax Trainer and Deputy Station Manager at the Victoria Island Tax Station. Maruf developed an Excel Personal Income Tax Computation named AJETAX COMPUTATION which helped in easy and fast tax determinations. Maruf facilitated in numerous tax trainings within the Agency including Station Managers. Maruf Ajetunmobi also served as Revenue Committee Chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA and became the Coordinator of all the Revenue Chairmen - 2012-2014. Maruf was among the foundation members of the CITN V.I. LEKKI DISTRICT SOCIETY and served as the pioneer General Secretary-2019-2020. Served as CITN STUDENTS’ AND TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE -2019-2020.
Ma’ruf passed the Tax Preparer’s course of the HRBlock in New Jersey USA and a NJ licensed Life Insurance Agent. He’s presently studying for IRS Enrollment Agent. Ma’ruf has a Masters degree in Economics. He’s also a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management, and an Accredited Management Trainer from the Centre for Management Development, Nigeria.
